"To error is human, but to really foul
things up requires a computer."
This page was made using several antique graphics' programs, a computer that runs slower than a hare with a twisted ankle, two hands, two eyes, and lots of time. Adobe PhotoDeluxe Home Edition 4.0, PaintBrush, and Microsoft Photo Editor 3.0 were used to edit the graphics. This page was coded entirely in Notepad. Hey, what can I say? I'm old fasioned.
The images on this website for this particular version are by William Bouguereau, with the exception of that Static Stick thing, but there's just no excuse for that. I snapped up the pictures at ARC, a fantastic classical painting information and online gallery that you should really go take a look at if you get a chance. If you recall the splash page at the entrace of this site, that particular work is known as "Le Ravissement de Psyche", or "The Rapture of Psyche". Oil on Canvas, 1895. The link button for this site is called, "L'Amour Mouille" or "Wet Cupid". Oil on Canvas, 1891. Finally, if you'll look to your left, you'll see "Le Travail Interrompu" or "Work Interuppted", the center point of this collection and the inspiration for the page as a whole. Oil on Canvas, 1891.
All the rest of the images on this site are made by me and they suck.
Cheers!
